One well-behaved dog is permitted only by prior arrangement. There is no additional charge for dogs, unless there is excessive cleaning required, in which case a £25 surcharge will be made. If your dog causes damage to the property or garden, you will be invoiced for the full cost of making good. Please do not allow your dog upstairs in the bedrooms. A stair gate is provided to assist with this. We realise that some dogs may be used to lying on furniture at home.
Please do not allow your dog on the furniture without using the dog blankets and coverings provided. Please thoroughly clean the apartment, including dog hairs from rugs etc before you leave. If you bring a puppy or a dog which is prone to scratching or chewing, a dog crate is available by request. We ask that you inform us if you leave your dog at home alone during your stay.

We hope that you will have a very enjoyable and fun holiday with your dog. It is a perfect place for walking and there is a very good walk from the apartment around the Garrison. There are just three beaches on St. Mary's that are restricted during the period 1st May to 30th September and these are Porthcressa Beach, Porthmellon Beach and Old Town Beach. We ask that you follow the practise of a responsible owner and clean up after your dog. There are 'poo bins' in various locations on St. Mary's. 

 

The local Wildlife Trust grazes cattle and ponies on some of the heath land and walks on St. Mary's and Bryher, so you do need to be aware that you and your dog will probably come across these animals on your walks. 

Dogs are to be kept on leads on Tresco at all times.
