There are stunning panoramic sea views which extend across the harbour and off-islands from all the rooms, the garden and patio.  

There is always something to watch on the water, whether it is boats in the harbour or the occasional seal in the waters below the house.   

What better than to sit out on the deck on a summers evening watching the wonderful sunsets over Samson.

Situated in an elevated position on Garrison Hill and just a two minute walk from the shops, restaurants and quay, the apartment is convenient for Hugh Town, yet far enough out to be quiet. 

How about a quiet winter break?  See the islands when there are few visitors and with an opportunity to really unwind in our cosy apartment.  There can be varied weather with spectacular seas.  Enjoy dressing up and blowing the cobwebs away on our wonderful coastal walks. Or just enjoy the warmth of the apartment and do nothing but read a book. Leave the islands at the end of your break totally refreshed and ready for the wider world.  

Garrison House was built in the 1700's and its original use is thought to have been a store, cart shed and stables for Star Castle. 

At one time it was used as an infantry barracks and in the late 19^th century became home to the coastguards and their families. Fiona and Peter bought the house in 1999 and have since extensively renovated it to provide a high standard of guest facilities.
